AUGUSTA — Six people were indicted on various charges that span October 2013 and March 7, 2014, as a result of an investigation by the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency in the Waterville and Oakland area.

James Bell, 43, of Winslow; Tonya Dickinson, 26, of Oakfield; Eric J. Finnemore, 35, of Linneus; Christopher McEachern, 25, and Corey Stevens, 21, both of Oakland; and Katherine Tibbetts, 49, of Jay, were indicted on charges of unlawful trafficking in methamphetamine and conspiracy to commit unlawful trafficking in methamphetamine. In addition, McEachern was charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine on March 7 in Oakland, and Stevens was charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine on March 7 in Waterville.

Finnemore is also charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of oxycodone on March 7 in Waterville.

Those indictments were among the 71 handed up Friday by a grand jury in Kennebec County Superior Court. Those indictments contained 210 charges against 56 individuals. All cases presented resulted in indictments, but some indictments were sealed until those charged are arrested.

An indictment is not a determination of guilt, but it indicates that there is enough evidence to proceed with formal charges and a trial.

• Brandon Joseph Arnold, 21, of Chelsea, unlawful possession of heroin Nov. 7, 2013, in Augusta, and five counts of theft by unauthorized taking Nov. 22, 2013-Nov. 20, 2014, all in Augusta.

• Samuel Barrows, 19, of Windsor, gross sexual assault and unlawful sexual contact July 9, 2013, in Windsor.

• Demetrio A. Bautista, 20, of Winslow, aggravated criminal mischief Nov. 20, 2013, in Winslow.

• Lyle Etienne Bernier, 22, of Vassalboro, unlawful trafficking and unlawful possession of Adderall (dextroamphetamine/amphetamine), unlawful furnishing of marijuana, unlawful possession of hashish/hashish oil and criminal forfeiture of $729.25, all April 21, 2013, in Winslow.

• Bryan J. Booth, 18, of Augusta, burglary, criminal mischief and two counts of theft by unauthorized taking Nov. 5, 2013, in Augusta.

• Lloyd Richard Broner, 24, of Augusta, five counts of burglary of a motor vehicle, two counts of theft by unauthorized taking, and one count of violation of condition of release Oct. 4-9, 2013, in Waterville.

• Sean D. Brooks, 44, of Augusta, domestic violence assault April 2 in Augusta.

• Andrew Brown, 25, of Litchfield, two counts of burglary and one of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer Oct. 14-18, 2013, in Mount Vernon.

• Garrett T. Brown, 19, of Augusta, two counts of burglary and four counts of criminal mischief Feb. 4-5 in Augusta.

• Shawn D. Burgess, 37, of Pittston, domestic violence criminal threatening and domestic violence assault April 21 in Pittston.

• Daniel F. Cash Jr., 37, of Augusta, domestic violence assault and domestic violence criminal threatening March 31-April 1 in Gardiner.

• Mitchel B. Macarthur, 24, of Fairfield, burglary and theft by unauthorized taking Nov. 4, 2013, in Waterville.

• Jeremy Carl McCaslin, 38, of Belgrade, robbery and violation of condition of release March 30 in Augusta; eluding an officer and operating after suspension Dec. 8, 2013, in Belgrade.

• Patrick G. McDonnell, 50, of Augusta, criminal operating under the influence and operating without a license Jan. 30 in Benton.

• Ralph A. Mosher IV, 26, of Litchfield, theft by unauthorized taking, refusing to submit to arrest and violation of condition of release Feb. 7 in Augusta.

• Cullen J. Penney, 18, of Augusta, two counts of burglary and four counts of criminal mischief Feb. 4-5 in Augusta.

• Wentworth Fitzgerald Rhoden, 31, and Alexis John Vilar, 24, both of Bridgeport, Conn., three counts each of aggravated furnishing in scheduled drugs and unlawful possession of scheduled drugs — cocaine, cocaine base, oxycodone — and criminal forfeiture of $990 and refusing to submit to arrest, all March 23 in Waterville. Rhoden also faces a charge of aggravated forgery and Vilar of criminal forfeiture of $3,431, all connected to the same incident.

• John L. White Jr., 50, of Pittston, terrorizing April 3 in Pittston.

• Zakari Angelo Whittier, 33, of Belgrade, aggravated trafficking in heroin, unlawful possession of heroin and criminal forfeiture of $757 Feb. 11 in Sidney.

• Clinton D. Willoughby, 25, of Winslow, domestic violence assault and aggravated criminal trespass March 28 in Waterville.

• Shane Leslie Wood, 47, of Vassalboro, six counts of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, two counts of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs, and one count each of aggravated unlawful furnishing of scheduled drugs and criminal forfeiture of $5,750 in currency allegedly used in the commission of drug offenses, all July 8, 2013, in Vassalboro.
