Winthrop man charged with OUI after crash

WINTHROP — A local man was charged with driving drunk when he caused a crash Saturday that injured two people on Main Street.

David R. Hall, 41, was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence.

The driver of the second vehicle, Trisha Robishaw, 36, of Winthrop, and a 16-year-old Winthrop girl, were both taken to St. Mary’s hospital in Lewiston with what were believed to be non life-threatening injuries, said Winthrop Police Chief Joseph Young. A third person in the car was not injured.

The crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. when Hall drove out of the Hannaford supermarket parking lot and ran into Robishaw’s car as it passed on Main Street.
