OAKLAND — Kylee Knight had two doubles, a single and scored three runs to lead the Messalonskee softball team past Lewiston 5-0 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game Thursday.

Kristy Prelgovisk and Maddi Charest each doubled for Messalonskee (10-4) while Kirsten Pelletier went the distance for the Eagles.

Courtney Marquist had two hits for the Blue Devils (1-13).

OXFORD HILLS 8, MT. BLUE 0: Annika Kahkonen had two singles, scored two runs and stole three bases to lead the Vikings to the KVAC A win in Farmington. Winning pitcher Crystal West had two hits and two runs scored as well.

BANGOR 25, LAWRENCE 0: Bangor scored 14 runs in the first inning and then cruised to the KVAC A win in Fairfield.

Audrey Fortier had a double for Lawrence (3-10).

Bangor improved to 11-4.

SKOWHEGAN 10, EDWARD LITTLE 1: The host Indians collected 15 hits on their way to the KVAC Class A win. Mikayla Toth led Skowhegan with a triple and two singles while Eliza Bedard and Andrea Quirion each doubled and singled. Taylor Johnson, Kaitlyn Therriault and Morgan Buker each single twice for the Indians (11-3). Edweard Little is 8-6.

OAK HILL 20, MT. ABRAM 0: Jamie Prue had three hits, including a home run, and winning pitcher Sadie Goulet chipped in with three hits as well as the Raiders won the MVC game.

Sara Noel and Kelsey Collins each had two hits for Oak Hill (8-6).

Alora Ross had two hits for Mt. Abram (4-10).

BASEBALL

WATERVILLE 10, ERSKINE 4: Owen Brown had three hits, including two doubles, to lead the Purple Panthers to a KVAC win over the Eagles in Waterville.

Alan Wood had three singles, while Kaleb Kane had a single and double for Waterville (11-2).

A.J. Godin struck out seven batters in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Purple Panthers.

Tyler Bailey had a single and a double for Erskine (6-8).

SKOWHEGAN 9, EDWARD LITTLE 3: Trey Michonski had two hits and earned the complete game win in Skowhegan.

It was the third win in a row for the Indians. John Swett had three hits for Skowhegan (6-8), while DJ Allen homered and drove in a pair of runs.

Lew Jensen doubled for the Red Eddies (6-8).

BANGOR 8, LAWRENCE 3: Andrew Hillier pitched a complete game six-hitter to lead the Rams to the KVAC Class A win in Fairfield. Justin Courtney singled and doubled for Bangor (13-2) while Hillier and Sam Houston each singled twice. Joe Leclair led Lawrence (6-7) with a three-run homer in the third inning.

OAK HILL 13, MT. ABRAM 6: Dalton Therrien singled four times and tripled to lead the Raiders to the KVAC Class B win in Wales. Winning pitcher Jonah Martin added two triples and pitched a four-hitter with relief help from Parker Asselin. Oak Hill is 11-3, Mt. Abram is
