PALERMO — Naturalist and SVCA Programs Manager Lynne Flaccus, will lead a guided exploration of the Sheepscot Valley Conservation Association’s Palermo Preserve beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday. The 74-acre wooded preserve on Turner Ridge Road protects 4,000 feet of the upper reaches of the Sheepscot River.

Over a mile of trails wind through mixed forest and along the banks of the Sheepscot River. The riparian areas of the river are bustling with life this time of year.
