ATHENS — The Athens Recreation Department Family Fun Day is set for 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, July 19, at the recreation field. Admission is free.
There will be a water slide and a trampoline. All-day wrist bands cost $10.
A parade is set for 9:30 a.m. Scheduled activities include frog jumping, water balloon toss, children’s arm wrestling, family obstacle course competition. Live music is planned and much more.
A pig roast is set for 4-6 p.m. Cost is $6 per person, or $20 for a family.
Fireworks will begin at 9 a.m..
