The Bastille Tournament sponsored by Augusta Fuel Co. and hosted by Mill Park Petanque is set for 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday in Mill Park in Augusta.

Players from Old Orchard Beach; Blue Hill; Madison; Fayette; Augusta; St. Augustine, Fla.; and Sebring, Fla., are scheduled to play. Petanque is played with hollow metal balls and is similar to horseshoes or bocce. The goal is to throw the balls as close to a small wooden ball as possible. In this doubles tournament, each game will last 50 minutes or 13 points, whichever comes first.

The public is invited to come and watch the games at no charge. Anyone who needs more information can all Ray Fecteau at 622-3389.
