July 7 a 34-year-old man was charged with displaying a fictitious inspection sticker during a traffic stop for a loud exhaust on Route 9.
A 37-year-old man was charged with displaying a fictitious inspection sticker during a traffic stop. Police say the sticker was consistent with other fictitious stickers found in the area.
Saturday a Brunswick woman was charged with sale and use and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop for a loud exhaust on Route 9.
Monday at 6:11 p.m., mischief was reported on Smith Road.
CHINA
July 8 two Winslow residents were charged by police investigating a report of bad checks at Richards Redemption on Waterville Road. A 27-year-old woman was charged with theft and forgery and her 29-year-old boyfriend was charged with receiving stolen property after police discovered that the checks were stolen and forged.
Sunday a 42-year-old woman was charged with attaching false plates during a traffic stop.
Monday at 8:45 a.m., theft was reported on Route 3.
4:31 p.m., there was a report of a domestic dispute on Lakeview Drive.
GARDINER
Thursday a 35-year-old woman was charged with displaying a fictitious inspection sticker during a traffic stop.
Sunday a 20-year-old West Gardiner man was charged with possession of a usable amount of marijuana and sale and use of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop in the parking lot of a Bridge Street business for failure to display a front license plate.
Monday at 8:58 a.m., there was a report of identity theft on High Holborn Street.
6:55 p.m., there was a report of suspicious activity on Central Street.
HALLOWELL
Tuesday at 7:27 a.m., theft was reported at Family Matters on Mayflower Road.
JEFFERSON
July 7 a 2003 Suzuki Intruder motorcycle being driven north on South Clary Road by a 56-year-old Jefferson man hit a deer.
Saturday a 2006 Ford Taurus being driven north on Hinks Road by a 27-year-old Jefferson woman crossed the center line and hit the driver’s side front and quarter panel of a southbound 2015 Subaru Legacy being driven by a 78-year-old Jefferson woman. The Taurus traveled 100 feet down the road and hit a tree head on.
LITCHFIELD
Monday at 11:51 p.m., there was an accident on Dennis Hill Road.
MONMOUTH
Monday at 5 p.m., a 48-year-old Auburn woman was charged with displaying a fictitious inspection sticker during a traffic stop on U.S. Route 202.
5:47 p.m., there was an accident on Main Street.
RANDOLPH
July 8 a 39-year-old woman was charged with marijuana possession during a traffic stop for an expired inspection sticker. Police say the officer noticed marijuana buds in the car and the woman was unable to produce a medical marijuana card.
SIDNEY
Monday at 8:23 p.m., mischief was reported on Middle Road.
VASSALBORO
July 8 there was a report of theft on Arnold Road.
Friday there was a report of a domestic dispute on Riverside Drive. Police will turn information over to the district attorney’s office.
An assault was reported on Riverside Drive. A woman said she was slapped by her boyfriend’s brother. The investigation is ongoing.
Saturday there was a report of a burglary on South Stanley Hill Road.
WAYNE
Monday at 9:14 a.m., a burglary was reported on Walton Road.
WHITEFIELD
Saturday a 2005 Ford Escape being driven south by an 82-year-old Whitefield man was hit by a northbound 2003 Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck being driven by an 18-year-old Whitefield man when the Escape slowed and moved to the right of the roadway before starting to make a left turn. The driver of the pickup told police he believed the Escape was going to turn right so he began to pass on the left.
WINDSOR
Friday there was a report of a bad check at Hussey’s General Store on Ridge Road. The investigation is ongoing.

Sunday at 8:03 a.m., there was a report of suspicious activity.
Monday at 8:25 a.m., there was a report of suspicious activity.

Monday at 9:17 p.m., Tanya H. Pridham, 35, of Farmingdale, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal trespass on Kennebec Drive.
MONMOUTH
Monday at 7 p.m., Travis Brown, 30, of Orland, was arrested on charges of operating after suspension and violating conditions of release during a traffic stop on Blake Road.
WEST GARDINER
Saturday Brian Costa, 50, of West Gardiner, was arrested on a warrant at his house.
