HALLOWELL — Local roots band the Boneheads will kick off a picnic concert series at historic Vaughan Homestead.

The Garden Stage series will feature local musicians the Boneheads, Mr. Harley & the Strollers, Ed DesJardins and Ken Lebreque, as well as movies on the lawn.

Concerts will take place rain or shine. Covered space is available for the first 50 reserved tickets. Tickets may be available night of show with the understanding that covered space is full. Tickets cost $10 for adults, $5 for children, $25 per family. Tickets are available online at vaughanhomestead.org. Movies are free, reservations are required. Lawn chairs and picnic blankets are encouraged.
