EAST WILTON — East Wilton Union Church announces its schedule for their 2014 annual August “Concerts on the Lawn” series. The free concerts are set for 6 p.m., on Sunday evenings in August, on the East Wilton Union Church lawn, located at 1306 Main St. There will be an opportunity for a free-will offering. All concerts will be on the church lawn, except that in case of inclement weather the concerts will be held inside. A time of food and fellowship will follow each concert.

Mark Butler — A southern country gospel singer is planned for Aug. 3

Greater Purpose — A local gospel group, featuring many original songs is planned for Aug. 10.

The Hyssongs — A well-known gospel family trio is planned for Aug. 17.

The Dartts — A well-known gospel singing group is planned for Aug, 24.

Alan Frink — A southern gospel and light contemporary gospel singer is planned for Aug. 31st

The public is invited to join in for great time of song and fellowship. Bring a friend. Some chairs are provided but you are welcome to bring a lawn chair or blanket. For more information, call the church at 645-4297.
