AUGUSTA — A Connecticut man has pleaded guilty to charges of impersonating an officer — a state drug enforcement agent — during an assault and burglary of a Mount Vernon Avenue residence.

For his role in the April 1 incident, Joshua Krajewski, 24, of Thompson, Conn., was sentenced Tuesday in Kennebec County Superior Court to four years in jail, with all but 115 days suspended, and three years probation, $700 restitution.

According to an affidavit by Augusta Police Detective Chris Blodgett, a man reported that he was entering a Mount Vernon Avenue residence “when four guys came out of the home pointing guns at him yelling ‘MDEA. Get on the ground.'”

Several BB handguns were recovered near the scene, and suspects told police they expected to find $20,000 in cash at the residence along with some drug dealers named Sauce, Corn, and Cheese, Blodgett wrote in the affidavit filed in Kennebec County Superior Court.
