SKOWHEGAN — Spectrum Generations will host a presentation on V.A. and medicare benefits from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, at its Somerset Center, 30 Leavitt St.

Conrad Edwards, veterans benefits officer, will provide an overview of benefits and services you may qualify for as a veteran or widow of a veteran. He can answer questions on how the Affordable Care Act affects veterans. Theresa Gogan, aging and disabilities resource counselor, will join Edwards to give updates on current Medicare Money Saving Benefits, Medicare’s Annual Wellness Visit, and Medicare Preventive Benefits.

Pre-registration is not required, but appreciated. The event is free; donations are accepted.
