Diunna Greenleaf to perform at American Folk Festival

BANGOR — The American Folk Festival recently announced in a press release that Diunna Greenleaf will perform at the three-day festival on the Bangor waterfront. Greenleaf is a blues musician hailing from Houston, Texas with a style that combines jazz, gospel, and soul. Greenleaf draws her musical style from those who have influenced her, including Aretha Franklin, Sam Cooke, and Koko Taylor.

“Diunna will bring a level of musicianship and energy that will only increase the excitement around this year’s edition of the American Folk Festival,” said Heather McCarthy, executive director of the festival, in the release. “We have a diverse and well-rounded lineup that will give virtually every musical taste something to look forward to on what is shaping up to be an amazing weekend on the Bangor waterfront.”
