GARDINER — The Gardiner/Augusta Lions has announced their elected officers for the 2014/2015 season. They are Linda Shorey, president; Marge Nicholas, past president; Terry Cloutier, first vice president; and Larry Ayotte, second vice president.
The club offers bingo every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds support the building fund and renting the club to local organizations. The Wheaton Auctions are held at the clubhouse monthly and Weight Watchers holds their weekly meetings on Monday night. The Rebekahs, a Gardiner senior group and Maine Sight and Hearing also hold their meetings at the clubhouse.
Planned fundraisers include a public pancake breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, and the annual holiday fair from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 6. For information about becoming a member, call 485-7100.
