I am writing to support Tim Marks’ candidacy for re-election to represent District 87 (Randolph, Pittston, Alna and Wiscasset) in the House of Representatives. Marks, D-Pittston, brings to this job a unique set of experience and interests that make him my choice for representative.

He is a retired state trooper, which gives him important experience in at least two respects. One of these is his firsthand knowledge about what it means to be an employee of the state of Maine. Second is his detailed knowledge of our criminal justice system and how it works (and does not work) for the residents of Maine.

He also is an avid sportsman and thus has an abiding interest in the fisheries, wildlife and environment in Maine. In his first term, he represented us well on the Criminal Justice and Fish and Wildlife committees.

I hope others join me in supporting Marks for representative.
