PINKHAM NOTCH, N.H. — New Hampshire State Police are asking for help from the public to help identify a pit bull and its owner after they said the dog attacked another on a mountain hike. The attacked dog died of its injuries.
Police said the attack happened on Aug. 21 during a hike near Tuckerman’s Ravine. The injured dog died three days later.
Police distributed a photo of the pit bull and the owner. They ask that anyone with information that may help identify them is requested to contact Trooper Jonathan Stephens at (603) 223-8873.
