After two productive terms, Dennis Keschl, R-Belgrade, will step down as our representative in House of Representative District 76 (formerly 83). He’s been an excellent legislator, and we’ll miss him.
He has helped recruit a wonderful successor. Gary Hilliard, also a Republican from Belgrade, is a solid, thinking, caring individual with an excellent business background. He’s met payrolls, planned and developed neighborhoods, owned and managed a number of restaurants, and he’s been successful in all of those endeavors.
Gary has never been a politician. He’s not someone who has spent a large portion of his life running for office; he spent it living a Mainer’s life. He’s a family man, a businessman and a sportsman, and he will work for District 76 and the state of Maine thoughtfully and tirelessly. We need to do ourselves a big favor and elect Gary Hilliard.
