OAKlAND — The Oakland Recreation Department will hold its annual fall foliage trip from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2.

Attendees will travel through the western Maine mountains and stop in Rangeley for lunch at the Red Onion Restaurant. Participants will order from the regular menu and be responsible for the cost of their lunch.

The trip will depart from the rear parking lot next to the baptist church on Church Street. The cost is $2 per person and free or residents.

Registrations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, call 465-7357.
