I met Rebecca Cornell du Houx, a Democrat from Augusta, before her campaign for Senate District 15, when she was working as a counselor. As a veteran, I spoke to her about my battles and struggles with PTSD. She showed such a caring side to someone she just met.

I strongly feel Rebecca would serve us well in the Senate, especially with the leadership skills and diverse perspective she has attained while serving in the military for more than a decade. She will consider all sides before she makes a decision, knowing people’s lives may be seriously affected by her votes.

Cornell du Houx lives her life selflessly. She’s volunteered in many areas with relief work. Somebody who has such drive and gives so much not only deserves a seat in our Senate, but we as Mainers deserve to have someone so dedicated to doing the right thing.
