AUGUSTA — The Messalonskee girls soccer team got three goals from Fern Calkins to earn a 3-0 win, their first victory of the season in a Kennebec Valley Atheltic Conference Class A game against Cony.

Kassadi McPherson chipped in with an assist for the Eagles (1-3-1), while Taylor Easler made eight saves in net to pick up the shutout.

Autumn Sudbury finished with 11 saves for the Rams (0-4-1).

EDWARD LITTLE 10, SKOWHEGAN 1: Piper Norcross scored three goals and Makayla Norcross added two goals and two assists to lead the Red Eddies to the KVAC A win in Skowhegan.

Edward Little improved to 4-0-1 while Skowhegan dropped to 0-5-0.

Mikayla Lewia scored the lone goal for the Indians.

MESSALONSKEE 5, CONY 3: James Kouletsis scored three goals, including two in the second half, to lead the Eagles to the KVAC A victory.

Messalonskee (2-3-0), which led 3-2 at the half, also received goals from Elijah Tuell and Dylan Jones.

Conner Perry scored two goals and Nate Parlin added another to pace the Rams.

Jonah Webb had 10 saves for the Eagles while Nick Robinson had four for Cony.

WINSLOW 4, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 0: Jimmy Fowler scored three goals and Pedro Delcid added another as the Black Raiders cruised to the victory at Spruce Mountain.

Jake Warren, Spencer Miranda, David Grant and Justin Burgher each had assists for Winslow (4-1-0).

Alex Berard had three saves for Winslow while Nick Guild had 22 for Spruce Mountain (0-5-0).
