Rep. Robert Nutting, R-Oakland, has long been an effective leader for the people of District 77 and for Maine. With his institutional knowledge and willingness to listen to and learn from people on all sides of the issues, Nutting brings a valuable perspective to debates at the State House.
I was privileged to be a member of the Maine House while Bob served as speaker of the House and was constantly impressed by the balanced, rational approach with which he led the Maine House of Representatives. It is not an easy job to keep 151 representatives on task, maintain decorum and lead the charge to accomplish great things for the people of Maine, but Bob did just that.
I encourage voters in his district to support Nutting this November so that your community and all of Maine will continue to benefit from having his experienced leadership in Augusta.
