SAN ANTONIO —Air Force Airman Desiree N. Johns has graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio.
Johns completed an eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Johns is the daughter of Kendra Johns of Sabattus, Maine, and sister of Alex Johns of Augusta, Maine.
She is a 2013 graduate of Oak Hill High School, Wales, Maine.
