SKOWHEGAN — Cedar Ridge Center recently held its annual Harvest Ball. Residents were adorned in gowns, suits and ties, all of which were donated by Bethany Vigue of the Melody Ranch and CJ Greene of East Madison.

Staff and volunteers spent the morning styling residents’ hair, manicuring nails and applying make up in preparation for the event. Music was provided by disc jockey Bee Bop Bob. Dance instructor Louis Moniz.

Residents Robert Fletcher and Beverly Durrell were crowned King and Queen by last spring’s Ball Royals, Pauline Lanctot and Lucien LaPointe. Dominick Rinaldi, of Rinaldi & Son’s Automobile Repairs and Engine Center in Skowhegan, drove the King and Queen around town in a 1964 Chrysler 300 convertible they recently restored.

The facility holds two balls a year.
