WATERVILLE — Waterville Public Library once again will host write-ins during National Novel Writing Month in November. Write-ins are events that give people the opportunity to meet fellow writers while working on their NaNoWriMo masterpieces.

National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to creative writing. On Nov. 1, participants begin working towards the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 30.nanowrimo.org.

Write-ins will be held in the Large Print Room at the library on the following dates: noon-3 p.m. Nov. 1, 5-7 p.m. Nov. 4, 1-3 p.m. Nov. 7, and 5-7 p.m. Nov. 10, 14, 18, 21, 24 and 28.

The free events are open to the public, and refreshments will be provided.
