Many state leaders talk about growing small businesses to grow our economy and create jobs, but talk alone doesn’t create small businesses. We need experienced state legislators who understand our needs, and who support sensible and responsible public policies.
Rep. Gay Grant, D-Gardiner, is one of those legislators. Like so many of us, she wears many hats — community volunteer, proud Mainer, wife, mother, daughter and small business owner.
In her first term, Grant supported the needs of small businesses by voting to invest in education and job training, a fair and sensible budget, and access to quality, affordable health care for all. Like many entrepreneurs, she knows how to listen and to compromise. We need the voice and experience of a small business owner. I’m voting to re-elect Grant as District 83 representative, Gardiner and Farmingdale.
