The Sustain Mid Maine Coalition is once again collaborating with Kennebec Valley Community College to help residents improve their home comfort while reducing their heating costs. Air Sealing 101 is one of the follow-up courses to the very popular Heating 101 offered earlier this month. KVCC’s Adjunct Building Science Instructor Michael Lessard will present this two-hour program. There is no charge for this class, and it is open to everyone. Registration is not required. Air Sealing 101 will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, in Room 105, Carter Hall at KVCC in Fairfield.
SMMC’s experience with its Home Energy Savings Consultations has also shown that air sealing can give more savings for the money than most other changes. For more information, email jreuthe@waterville-me.com or call 680-4216.
