Building a life with self-reliance, personal responsibility and continual self-improvement leads to a fulfilling life of self-governance, because you cannot tax your way to prosperity. A government that offers a helping hand in bad times achieves more self-respect for that individual than a life of serfdom. Voters’ help is needed to stop the return of policies that created 42 years of decline and dependency in Maine.

One question that all concerned residents should ask the candidates is how they are going to fund the unfunded liabilities of $40 million in public education when the passage of Common Core by Gov. John Baldacci and the Democratic majority in June 2010 and now Common Core was merged into Maine Learning Results by the Maine Department of Education educrats.

Vote for Linda Baker, Kim Talbot, Brian Watson, Jeff Pierce, Brian Hobart, Geoffrey Rushlau and Kerry Birimingham as a write-in for Topsham SAD 75 board.
