We again have a three-way race for governor in Maine. It seems many people will be voting against one candidate by voting for the one they think can win, not the one they feel is best qualified to lead our state.

Fear has stepped in to skew this election, making our fear the winner and our state the loser.

I challenge all those who believe that Eliot Cutler is best qualified to represent and lead the state of Maine to stand up and say so. Write letters to the editor; talk to friends and neighbors. If he really is the best candidate, and everyone who thinks so votes that way, fear loses and we all win. Call me naive, but I’m voting for Cutler.
