HALLOWELL — Gaslight Theater will stage “Boo! Thirteen Scenes from Halloween” features a well-rounded cast of 14 with actors ranging in age from 8 to 68, it’s a show for the entire family. Thirteen tales with names like “Two Heads Are Better than One” and “Curse of the Ugly Dolls.” Trick-or-Treaters, played by Aowyn Burbank, Lydia Drisko, Gilbert Burbank-Domenda, Taylor Crawford and Francis Jewell (among others), will call for some treats, but the tricks just might be on anyone, according to a Gaslight Theater press release.

When Linda (Kelsey Parker) buys an antique frame, perhaps her husband, Jason (Henry Quintal) and her daughter (Megan Patterson), will need to adjust to some changes and Hilda (Jeanne Fletcher) just might make that happen.

Walter Guild as Mac will be ready for what might come his way but Claudette Jewell will be, too. Julie Barrett, a longtime player with Gaslight Theater, has an agenda (or two) and not much time to see it through. We even have a mortician (Ray Fletcher) and his wife (Meegan Burbank) with some irritating habits.

The show is produced by Anne Chamberlain and directed by Linda Duarte, assisted by Melanie Brown as the stage manager and John Upham as crew. Sound by Bob Gilbert, lights by Andrew Vick, and set by Brad Howard, John Upham, and Marc Loiselle rounds out the party.

With lots of roles and many playing multiple characters it is chaos — as it should be on Halloween. Children and adults are encouraged to wear their Halloween garb. This is family fun at its best — there are no less than four family groups involved with this production.

Show times are 7:30 p.m. Oct. 24, 25, 31 and Nov. 1 and 2 p.m. Oct. 26 and Nov. 2 at Hallowell City Hall.

Friday’s performance will be sign language interpreted for the hearing impaired.

Tickets cost $12 for adults and $10 for students. Call 626-3698 or visit www.gaslighttheqater.org to make reservations.
