Eliot Cutler and Mike Michaud both have good ideas, both would be strong leaders, and both would lead us away from the disastrous policies and vitriol of Gov. Paul LePage.
That said, the numbers are the numbers: Michaud and LePage are essentially tied in the polls, with Cutler a distant third. We’re now deep into October, and I’m not willing to bet my winter woodpile on a late Cutler surge.
In 2010, I voted for Cutler; in 2014, I’ll be voting for Michaud.
