Augusta would be well served by electing Monica Castellanos, a Democrat from Augusta, to the state Legislature, representing House District 86.

I have been an executive at CMP and served as state comptroller under independent Gov. Angus King, and I have known Monica for 20 years. I know she is up to the challenges Maine is struggling with now and will be in the future. She has two decades of professional experience in both the public and private sectors. Monica is a practical leader who works well with people across the political aisle. As a small businesswoman with statewide clients, she has put serious ideas forward. I am proud to call her a good friend and neighbor.

Please go to www.MonicaForMaineHouse.com and read her ideas for getting Maine’s economy moving again, focusing on education, infrastructure, innovation and cost savings. She will be an effective leader for Augusta.
