I feel very fortunate to have been friends with Kim Davis for years. I know Kim, the person, as opposed to Kim, the candidate; the public servant as opposed to the politician.
Kim, a Republican from Augusta, has invaluable experience from her time on the Augusta City Council and in the Maine Legislature. She has passionate beliefs and values with a keen ability to compromise and work respectfully with all. I’ve known few elected officials who do as much homework and research on issues before her.
Kim will never be beholden to any campaign donor or special interest. A proven neighborhood advocate, she also has owned several small businesses. Kim has lived “real world” experiences that strengthened her resolve and given her insight, understanding and empathy.
Kim Davis has my respect, admiration and trust, and I urge residents of Augusta’s House District 85 to join me in voting for her.
