Gay Grant still lives in the house where she grew up and raised her own family on the Kennebec River. She knows generations of people who live here like she knows the river that connects their lives.

I first met Gay 17 years ago on the board of trustees for the Gardiner library. She always brought level-headed thinking and insight to her trustee position. She also brought her expertise as a grant writer and secured more than $200,000 in funds that have supported the renovation of the children’s room, the main floor and most recently, the archive room. She knows the library is central to Gardiner’s economic hub and that library services are important for young families, MSAD 11 students as well as seniors.

A vote for Gay Grant will bring this same sharp intelligence and dedication to community that she’s had for Gardiner to Farmingdale.
