GARDINER — Gardiner Adult Education will host a class about fossils from 6 to 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, at Gardiner Area High School.

Attendees will learn about what kind of fossils are most common in Maine, the story of the Maine state fossil and some of the most recent dinosaur research. Hinckley’s L.C. Bates Museum will bring collections to share.
