After four years, I finally see hope here in Maine. Gov. Paul LePage has made a great start addressing 40 years of mismanagement. He sees a problem and is resolute to fix it. We have 20,000-plus new jobs, the hospital debt paid and domestic abuse addressed.

Also refreshing is that he’s not a career politician — no ambiguity there. I like that. He’s a successful businessman and father who understands Maine families.

He knew that abuse in our welfare system has been extremely costly to our state and horribly unfair. It’s actually stealing from those who need it most.

He’s seeking to find the best energy for Maine, which keeps getting blocked in Augusta. One more reason to vote for candidates who see the big picture.

I grew up here and am tired of Maine being near or at the bottom of every list that matters. Vote LePage.
