I’m a candidate for the Ward 1 City Council seat this Nov. 4, because I believe that I have the experience and skill sets that are needed to move Augusta forward and position it for success. I am a four-term Augusta city councilor with an exemplary record that focused on economic development and got good results.

Augusta needs new dynamic ideas that will bring in new revenue streams and, help the entire city to flourish. One of my big ideas is to utilize the Kennbec River for heritage tourism and collaborate with our neighbors in Hallowell, Farmingdale and Gardiner to improve their economic status, as well. The time has come to think outside of the box and problem solve with an eye to future.
