About 145 Central Maine Power Co. customers were still without power in Kennebec, Franklin and Somerset counties Tuesday evening, but none of those outages affected voting places.

As of 7:45 p.m., 21,373 customers across the state were still without power following Sunday’s heavy, wet snow and wind. Of those, 101 were in Kennebec County, 43 in Somerset County and one in Franklin County. Waldo County had 5,460. The hardest-hit county in the state was Knox, on the midcoast, with 8,192.

Five towns had to moving polling places: Brooklin, Camden, Mount Desert, Swans Island and Rockland. All are on the coast, which was hardest hit by the storm. The towns moved their polling places to buildings with power.
