FARMINGDALE — Hall-Dale High School will hold a holiday festival at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, in the high school gym.
The concert band, chorus, jazz band and jazz choir will play holiday music. There will be readings of Kwanzaa, Hanukkah and Christmas stories, a holiday singalong and a visit from Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus.
Admission is by a food donation to benefit the Hallowell food bank. Proceeds from a dessert bar and photos with Santa Claus will support Keep Maine Warm and a box will be available to collect sock donations for the Bread of Life Shelter. Attendees will also have the opportunity to write holiday greetings to American soldiers recovering at Walter Reed in Washington, D.C.
Snow date will be Thursday, Dec. 18.
