Dec. 1 was a regular day for me; I had just finished a long shift at work and drove to Waterville to meet my significant other for lunch at a local restaurant.
We were seated in a booth and ordered our food and received a good meal. When we finished our dining experience, I requested the check from our waitress. She told us that a woman sitting in front of us paid our check. I remember her vaguely, from passing by her when we were seated.
I do not know who she was but I do know this: Angels are among us. I would like to thank her for her act of kindness and generosity. It’s so nice to know that God’s work is still amongst us in such difficult times.
