Firefighters from at least five towns were battling a house fire late Tuesday afternoon in a blowing snowstorm on Mills Road in Whitefield.
Crews from Whitefield, Jefferson, Somerville, Alna and Windsor were on the scene and bringing water from a source on Coopers Mills Road, according to a firefighter.
Police had cut off some sections of the road to traffic.
The fire was reported after 4 p.m.
No other information about the fire was available Tuesday evening.
