FARMINGTON — Seth Powers scored 22 points to lead the Lawrence boys basketball team to a 72-55 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A win over Mt. Blue on Saturday.

Mason Cooper scored 18 points, while Dustin Simpson-Bragg added 13 points for the Bulldogs (3-12).

Drew Parsons scored 18 points for the Cougars (1-14), while Zach Mittelstadt scored 14 points and Brad Durrell added 12 points.

MCI 52, WINSLOW 42: Slade Emery made five 3-pointers and scored 18 points to lead MCI to a key KVAC B win in Winslow.

Trailing by one point entering the fourth quarter, MCI outscored Winslow 21-10 down the stretch to earn the win. Todor Imsir scored 12 points for MCI (10-6), while Austin Tolman added 11.

Justin Martin scored 26 points and grabbed 18 rebounds for Winslow (14-2).

BRUNSWICK 59, SKOWHEGAN 40: DeQuan Frost scored 17 points for the Indians in a KVAC A loss to the Dragons.

Isaac Witham scored 11 points for Skowhegan (4-12).

Alex Bandouveres scored 16 points for Brunswick (7-8).

RANGELEY 45, RICHMOND 40: Timmy White scored 25 points to lead the Lakers to a win over the Bobcats in Rangeley.

Orrin Mitchell scored six points, while Mason Cavalier added five points for Rangeley (5-10).

Matt Holt scored 15 points for Richmond (9-5). Cameron Emmons scored eight points.

BOYS HOCKEY

LAWRENCE/SKOWHEGAN 7, PORTLAND/DEERING 0: The Bandits picked up their sixth straight win with a victory over the Bulldogs at Sukee Arena.

Trey Michonski led Lawrence/Skowhegan (7-5-1 Eastern A) with three goals and two assists, while Cody Martin had two goals and two assists. Curtis Martin earned the shutout with 19 saves.

Alex Girsch finished with 27 saves for Portland/Deering (5-9-0).

WATERVILLE 3, HAMPDEN 2: Dalton Henderson scored a pair of goals and assisted on another to help pace the Purple Panthers to an Eastern B win over the Broncos.

Andrew Rodrigue also scored for Waterville (8-4-0), while Nathan Pinnette made 11 saves in goal.

Dylan Cray led Hampden (6-8-0) with a goal and an assist.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

RANGELEY 51, RICHMOND 34: Seve Deery-DeRaps scored 19 points to lead the Lakers to a win over the Bobcats in Rangeley.

Taylor Esty scored 10 points, while Brooke and Maddison Egan each scored nine points for Rangeley (15-0).

Sydney Tilton scored 12 points for Richmond (10-5).

PINE TREE 35, VALLEY 18: Allison Verrill and Alex Goodman each scored 12 points as the Breakers (15-1) topped the Cavaliers in Bingham.

Samantha West paced Valley (6-10) with 11 points.

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 29, MADISON 28: Liza White hit the game-winner with three seconds left as Mountain Valley stunned Madison.

Karen Flaherty led the Falcons (9-6) with seven points while Emily Laubauskas added six points. Sydney LeBlanc paced the Bulldogs (7-8) with eight points, while Emily Oliver chipped in with seven.
