Students from Waterville, Winslow, Lawrence and Messalonskee compete and receive awards

WATERVILLE — Mid-Maine Technical Center recently had 135 students compete in their Local Skills Championships. The Championships included 28 individual competitions in technical and leadership skills. Sixty-nine business and industry representatives from the greater Waterville area served as judges, according to a news release from the Center. The gold medalist in each competition has qualified to represent MMTC at State SkillsUSA Championships in Bangor on March 5-6.
