FAIRFIELD — “My Dad’s Perspective: Preserving Beauty Amid War” is on display 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. during regular school sessions through April 17 in the multipurpose room at Lawrence High School, 9 School St. The exhibit includes black-and-white and color photos of people, planes, landscapes and humanity from 60-year-old restored color slides and black and white photographs taken by Galen E. Leavitt while in Japan and South Korea from 1951 to 1953, according to a release from the high school.
