Allow a brief observation about M.D. Harmon’s “thick, juicy steak” embodied in the Fox News Hour (March 21, “Americans’ trust in government slips, even as it grows in Fox News”).

Harmon correctly claims “…(the “Big Three”) networks barely skim the surface in their rush to pack pounds of news into one-ounce packets.” But, he’s passing up a tasty and satisfying prime rib offered by the PBS NewsHour.

There’s in-depth reporting and the bonus of not being subjected to all the mindless assaults on your time and intellect by advertisers offering unneeded pills and potions for myriad medical conditions besetting mankind.

And, no fighting with Dish to find the NewsHour; it’s readily available, even on the Internet. Bon appetit!
