UNE scored a run in the top of the seventh on a triple by Winthrop High School grad Cat Ouellette and an RBI groundout.

Freshman Julia Saul allowed four hits and struck out five to earn the win for Colby (4-7). Saul retired 11 straight batters at one point. Sansone singled twice and Meaghan Lewia stole two bases.
