I read the March 23 letter to the editor by Sharon Benoit and Keith Weatherbie of Monmouth, stating that Paul LePage doesn’t like people who disagree with him. And I immediately thought that with minor changes, it could far more accurately say that Barack Obama doesn’t like people who disagree with him.

Taking the letter’s words: “He introduced his agenda for this year and beyond … since that time we have learned that, in order to achieve his goal and continue to fund programs that (change Maine to American) people support, we would need to … increase taxes.”

I could go on and on. But what it says to me is that LePage must think like Obama. If so, why was he re-elected? And since Obama thinks the same way, why did the Republicans win so handily in the last election?
