Third graders in Jamie Kravetz’s class at Wayne Elementary School recently transformed their classroom into a giant multicultural center, where sharing and learning in the classroom were front and center, according to a news release from Principal Jeffrey Boston.

Students put on their creative thinking caps and transported themselves right into each of the seven continents. Their “Incredibly Interesting Geography Exhibit” showcased the hard work, informational writing skills and creativity of each student.

Through research, each student gave a presentation on a country of their choice and produced a handcrafted model and informational article to show all that was learned. This international celebration commenced as students became the tour guides to parents and students who came into their classroom. From learning about fashion in India and Mexico to recreation in Japan, everyone who came learned something new.
