The Bond Brook Recreation Area and the Tall Pines Way access road are closed because of mud season, Augusta officials said in a Thursday news release.
Use of the trails will cause damage and make it more difficult to open for the season. When conditions allow, the recreation area will be open for hiking, mountain biking and trail running.
