HALLOWELL — The sixth annual AIDS Walk of Central Maine will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 16, starting at Waterfront Park. Registration starts at 9 a.m.
The family friendly event will include clowns, face painting and balloons for children. A cookout and silent auction will begin at noon at Waterfront Park, according to a news release from event organizer Sarah Webster.
Proceeds from the event will benefit MaineGeneral’s Horizon Program, which provides comprehensive medical and social services for people with HIV and their families.
