A Eustis man remained in jail Friday on domestic violence charges after allegedly assaulting a woman and a child in separate incidents.

Paul Pitcher, 28, was arrested on charges of class D domestic violence assault, class D domestic violence terrorizing and class C domestic violence assault against a child, according to court documents.

Pitcher was charged after allegedly assaulting a woman last month and allegedly assaulting a child under the age of 6 on Tuesday.

The report of domestic violence at Flagstaff Apartments in Eustis was investigated Wednesday by Deputy Sandy Burke, Cpl. Chris Chase and Lt. David St. Laurent, according to a news release from Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols.

Bail for Pitcher was set at $5,000 cash, according to Franklin County court documents.
