GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — Don’t it make you wanna shout?

Many cast members from the 1978 cult comedy classic “Animal House” and director John Landis are holding a reunion this weekend in the Berkshires.

The reunion Saturday night at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center in Great Barrington includes a screening of the movie followed by a question-and-answer session. It is presented by the Berkshire International Film Festival.

The evening will end with music from Otis Day and the Knights.

The Berkshire Eagle reports that those scheduled to attend include Peter Riegert (Boon); Karen Allen (Katy); Stephen Furst (Flounder); Mark Metcalf (Niedermeyer); and Judy Belushi, widow of John Belushi (Blutarsky).

Riegert told the newspaper that the low-budget movie was successful because “It took you back to a simpler time, a more innocent time.”

Togas are optional.
